I love this scene so so much. It’s honestly one of my favorite closing scenes in any film I’ve ever watched. In it’s simplicity, there is poetry and beauty. Even after all the hate, and the violence of the film, a Kodama appears and it means there’s life. And where there’s life, there’s hope.
